SLIMQUICK Pure Extra Strength Mixed Berries Drink Mix: Review

I was recently given the chance to try new SLIMQUICK Pure extra strength drink mix. As you all know I have been working out a lot more lately and watching my food intake. I've switched to a more healthy way of life but I've recently hit a plateau, so I was eager to see if this would help.

There are a lot of weight loss supplements out there but this one intrigued me because it was designed specifically for women's bodies. This isn't a one-size-fits-all supplement, and I really like that idea! According to their website this is the only supplement designed specifically to help women lose 3 times the weight.

"We all know that it’s physically more difficult for women to lose weight. Studies have shown that hormones, slower metabolism, stress, low energy, appetite and water retention are the key reasons women have trouble losing weight. New SLIMQUICK Pure is the only weight loss supplement designed specifically for a woman’s body to combat the six ways our bodies work against us."

Sounds awesome...right? I couldn't wait to get started! The box arrived with 26 individual drink mix packets and a sample packet of their SLIMQUICK Pure gummies. It's simple to use, just pour into a bottle of water and mix.

I drank 1 serving in the morning and another in the afternoon.

The next day I had 2 servings in the morning and 1 in the afternoon.

The third day I had 2 servings in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.

This is the amount I stayed at for the rest of the week.

Slimquick Pure drink mix review

I tried the mixed berry flavor and it was really yummy! It tasted more like a treat then a diet drink. I had no problem drinking the 4 doses a day. It was a nice flavor switch from all the water I'd been guzzling. There are 0 calories in a serving. These were easy to toss in my purse and mix up in a water bottle while I was out so I didn't miss a dose.

SLIMQUICK Pure Extra Strength Drink Mix contains natural ingredients like antioxidants, calcium, vitamin D, and BioPure Green Tea

All that sounds great...but did it work? I lost almost 2 lbs. in that week so I would say YES. I have been on a healthy diet and steady exercise program which is vital to any weight loss attempt. This product is a tool to accelerate results, not a crutch. Used by itself I probably wouldn't get these results, but used in tandem with a healthy eating and activity program and it helped me break my plateau!

I have found this product at many retailers in my area or you can order it from Amazon. Give it a try. What have you got to lose...besides a few pounds?

Bamboo washcloth review

I was given the opportunity to try out and review bamboo washcloths for the first time. I had read about how soft they were but in my head that didn't make sense at all. Bamboo is not a soft plant! Needless to say, I was very curious. My face is overly sensitive because of the medication I'm on so I'm always looking for soft washcloths to use.

Brooklyn Bamboo washcloths: review

I use the prescription cream Retin A on my face every night. It makes the skin sensitive to rough fabrics and a nubby washcloth will literally rub the first layer of skin off my face and I look like I have burn patches! It happens on a weekly basis.

Reviewing fake essential oils

I have been using essential oils for many years now. I have a few of my favorites but love to experiment so when the opportunity to review an essential oil gift set came along, I jumped at the chance. Essential oils can be confusing to buy because they come in such a huge price range! You can find a bottle of say, tea tree oil for $4 and then find the same oil in another brand for almost $30! How do you know what to buy?

Fake essential oils reviews

When price ranges vary so widely for a single product often the quality varies too. I found out the hard way that not all essential oils are the same, no matter what the box says! This particular packaging had the words Essential Oil gift set right on the front. Each bottle had the words 100% Pure Essential Oil on it along with Therapeutic Grade and also Purity Tested Quality Assured. It sounds like a high quality product right? I thought so too.

I was wrong.

The advertisement did have the words Home Fragrance Aromatherapy Oil for Diffusers on it, but I foolishly gave more weight to the labels on the bottles rather than the words on the ad. It turns out they were not pure essential oils like they claimed. These 'oils' failed the paper test and were more than likely synthetic scented oils. At the very least they were diluted with a carrier oil. So disappointed.
